We have 4 zones of regulation. When we are in one of these zones we have a plan. If we are in the red zone we can do squeezing lemons and dragon fire breathing. When we are in different zones we can have a walk or talk to a friend.
I am a Year 7 student in the Uru Mānuka Cluster. This is a place where I will share my learning. Please note that some of it will not be complete, it will be my first drafts. Remember to be positive, thoughtful and helpful when you leave me a comment.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something helpful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.

Hi Jade.I have heard about these zones.I have also seen posters around the school.I have used some of the techniques that you have mentioned.I usually use the 'squeezing lemons'.This worked well with the child. What does the yellow zone mean?Would I be happy?I look forward to your reply.
