SLJ

 Good morning readers,

Today me and my classroom we were working on the Summer learning Journey. You may ask what is the Summer Learning Journey? It means you ask your children to do some learning over these long holidays. So the first task that we did was a colouring task. Where we had to colour a painting that a famous artist did a long time ago.

Here is the link if you guys want to try the Summer learning Journey and the colouring. Art  SLJ

Here is the little work we had to do to put onto a drawing in our drive. Here is also the instructions.

Thank you for reading my blog post please comment and have a nice week.

  1. Kia Ora Jade,

My name is Shannon, and I’m from the Summer Learning Journey.

Wow, your wave looks incredible! I definitely prefer it to the original! I like how you’ve made the whole picture bluer so that the pink boats contrast and stand out better! I also really like how you’ve recoloured the sky from yellow to blue. It looks like a clear warm day in the painting.

I love going to the beach. My favourite part is building sandcastles! I like to collect shells to decorate my castles and usually try to build a moat around the edge as well. What’s your favourite thing to do when at a beach or swimming pool?

Have you considered increasing the size of your text to make it easier to see for your readers? It might entice more people to view your blog!

    Ka kite anō,
    Shannon (SLJ)

  2. Hello Jade.
What a great idea to darken the picture.I think it makes the waves look bigger and more threatening to the boats.
If you could add any other detail to the picture, what would it be and why?.
Have a wonderful Christmas and holiday.
I look forward to seeing more of your holiday learning.
