Bunsen Burner Heater

Good morning my readers,

Yesterday me and my class were doing science. We were doing the Bunsen Burner but it was different than last time. We were heating water and seeing what the degree it was before. When you want to heat water faster. You can just follow my 4 steps for heating water with the Bunsen Burner.

Step 1.You will need a Bunsen burner. Along with a heat proof mat and tripod.

Step2.You will need a pair of safety goggles. A beaker and some water and a thermometer.

Step 3.When you have got it all you will set it up by a gas tap before you light the Bunsen burner you must close the air hole before doing it.

Step.4Once you get the fire going, put the thermometer and watch how the water gets hotter. But you can move the air hole after you light the flame and watch how it goes.

Here is my results for the water,

The hottest flame is the roaring flame because when me and my partner Ellenessa did the roaring flame the results went higher.

If you want here is my Evaluate practicals question for you guys to read.

Why do we need to make it a fair test? We need to make it a fair test because if you just test it on one person it works but if you do it on more than one you can get more results.

What do we need to keep fair in the test? To make sure it works more than one time because a lot of people could still have the virus so that's why we need it to be more than one.

Was it really a fair test? It was a fair test because me and my partner Ellenessa got a turn each time so it was fair by one person going first and then the other person goes after.

Thank you for reading my blog post please comment and have a fabulous day my readers.

  1. Hi Jade
Thank you for showing me the results that prove that the blue flame is the hottest.
Did you enjoy doing the experiment? Are you feeling confident to light a Bunsen burner?
Yes its important we carry out experiments that are a fair test.
    Thank you
