Bunsen Burner

Hello exotic readers,

Introduction:

Today I am going to be talking about the Bunsen Burner, Created in 1855 by a great and famous scientist named Robert Bunsen. He named his creation after himself Bunsen Burner. When I did the Bunsen Burner I kept changing the air hole to change the flame.

Describe:

There are different kinds of flame using the Bunsen Burner. I saw an invisible flame but my teacher: Miss Wheeler told me it is the safety flame. There can be different kinds of colours. When you start using the Bunsen Burner. Here are safety rules to make sure you're safe while using it.

The Safety flame helps you to turn it off. The blue flame is hottest and the yellow flame is not that hot. So this will help you when you do the Bunsen Burner.

Step number 1. First you need to have some safety goggles when you are doing experiments to protect yourself and your eyesight.

Step number 2. Make sure you have a gas emergency stop just in case it gets out of hand.

Step number 3. Before you light the flame you have to make sure the air hole is closed while doing the gas. When you're lighting the flame you should make sure it is not facing towards you cause it could set your clothes on fire.

Step number 4. After you finish lighting the flame you can move the air hole to a different position and you can do the safety flame if you want to turn it off.
